Delete Your Workbench Account

You can permanently delete your account and its data yourself, at any time, from inside the app. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Delete your account in the app

Web app

  1. Log in at tryworkbench.app.
  2. Go to Settings, then Data & Privacy.
  3. Under Delete my account, choose Delete account.
  4. Type DELETE to confirm. Your account is removed immediately.

Mobile app

  1. Open the Workbench app and log in.
  2. Go to Settings and choose Delete Account.
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

What gets deleted, and when

Your data

Your login, profile, and personal information are permanently deleted. Businesses you are the only owner of are permanently destroyed as well, including all of their records (clients, jobs, invoices, quotes, messages) and uploaded files (photos, documents, attachments).

Businesses with other owners

If a business you belong to has other owners, only your membership is removed. The business and its data are kept for the remaining owners.

Subscriptions

Active paid subscriptions for businesses that are deleted with your account are cancelled immediately. You will not be billed again after deletion.

Timing

Deletion runs as soon as you confirm it and typically completes within minutes. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged automatically as those backups expire, within 30 days. We may retain limited records where the law requires it (for example, invoices for tax purposes).

Can't log in?

Request deletion by email

Email privacy@tryworkbench.app from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We will verify that you own the account and complete the deletion within 30 days.
